Confirmation is a Catholic Sacrament of mature Christian commitment and a deepening of baptismal gifts. It is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation for Catholics. It is most often associated with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
Confirmation in St. Mary's Parish is a two-year program incorporating the elements of worship, catechesis, community and service into each year. Regular participation in each of these elements is encouraged and expected. It is the hope of the Pastor and the Faith Formation Board that through these efforts young people will be lead by the Holy Spirit to an ever deepening relationship with God committed to sharing Jesus' ministry of teaching, guiding, preaching, celebrating, worshipping and serving.
St. Mary's offers 10th and 11th grade Confirmation Class, with Confirmation being conferred in the Spring of the 11th grade year.
