St. Ann’s is a part of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers. The purpose of this organization is to promote Christian values and the intellectual and spiritual growth of the family through Christian education in the home; to serve as a source of encouragement, support and renewal for mothers of all ages; to unite mothers in prayer and instill in them a thoroughly Christian spirit; to educate mothers in performing their duties and practicing virtues; and to recognize the importance of a mother’s sacred duty to her children.
Our organization does different projects that include caring for the holy water fonts and laundering and ironing purificators and corporals used for Mass. We host blood drives, visit nursing home residents, sponsor meals after funerals, sponsor scholarships to graduating seniors, and give monetary gifts to many good causes.
The dues are $5 per year.
Meetings: We meet on the second Sunday of the month from September through May. In December, a Christmas party is held in lieu of a meeting. Meetings are held in St. Joseph's Halle following the 9 a.m. Mass.
